I'm not like this with writing, but I'm like it with games. I need to work on them every day, even when they're going badly (maybe even especially when they are going badly). On days I don't work on games I'm more sullen, more grumpy, and just less pleasant to be around. It feels like a pressure buildup. Some days I really wonder why I do it, why I put myself through it, why I drag my best friends through yet another playtest of the latest dumb thing I've been working on. But for right now, it just feels like something I need to do.
