ChaCha

I just read this CNN article about ChaCha. I've thought before that it might be fun to answer questions for them, but for 20 cents a question (and then only if you answer 300 questions that week)? It just doesn't seem worth it.

The first line of the article confuses me. How am I out with friends and not have web access? I have an iPhone. ;)

Confuses me too: when am I out with friends? We're always at someone's house, where there's room for games, internet's always on, and drinks are much cheaper. :)

ChaCha is even better with internet access. you can look at the source site that the guide got information from and you can even see some information on the guide that answered your question. It's just easier to get an answer to a question with ChaCha, just like having somebody look up the answer for you instead of having to sort through all the search results yourself.

Hmmm, this looks like comment spam.

This describes exactly why I _wouldn't_ use ChaCha: I like looking things up myself. I like looking things up for other people. I frequently take notes on my voice recorder of questions other people ask so I can look them up for myself and the other person later. But I enjoy it more doing it for fun, and out of curiosity. I think I'd get resentful if I started doing it for 20 cents instead.
