Good Things
I just finished the first Dresden Files novel, Storm Front, and enjoyed it very much. I actually found myself looking forward to the bus ride so I could read more of it.

This morning I turned in my final presentation for my HCI class. I just need to consolidate my previous deliverables into a final report before next Saturday, and I'll be done.

My brain's already churning on a new game design project to start afterward. (Though I won't be going full tilt on it right away. I need to relax for a while, and make up to my family for how cranky my homework made me.)

I just got the invite for our next Reuben outing, at The Ram downtown.

Karen and I have a fun getaway planned for this weekend.

It's warm enough again to sleep with the windows open.

So I'm just taking a moment to be grateful for it all.

i've started to play around with http://www.goodreads.com to keep track of my reading lists. You in particular might like that. I am reading the dresden books myself right now, I'm halfway through book 6. it's a fun series. nice easy read materials.

I'll check that out, thanks. Currently I just keep a big long list on Google Docs.

Welcome to the addiction. The series just gets better as it goes on. It's good at the begining, but its one of the rare series that has character growth and gets more nuanced as it goes while still being all about kicking bad guy butt.

If you haven't picked it up yet, I also STRONGLY recommend his other series, the alexa codex. It'd very different from Dresden, true sword and horses adventure, but very well written. This is what he's been pouring his heart into while Dresden was a fun project to pay the bills.

Sorry, just went back to check and I remembered the name of the series wrong - it's Codex Alera. First book "Furies of Calderon".
