Cultural Education
Where might you have heard someone say "I'm a fiddler crab! Why don't you shoot me? It's fiddler crab season?

Daffy Duck says it in "Duck! Rabbit! Duck!", the third installment in Chuck Jones's Elmer/Daffy/Bugs hunting trilogy.

Morgan didn't recognize the line when I said it this evening, and I was appalled that I'd so neglected her education. I whipped out our VHS tapes of the 2002 "June Bugs" marathon from Cartoon Network, and we watched the whole trilogy ("Rabbit Fire", "Rabbit Seasoning", and "Duck! Rabbit! Duck!") with her brother. In the process we stumbled across "The Rabbit of Seville" and Brandon asked to go back and watch that. That of course made me want to watch "What's Opera, Doc?" (the first cartoon short dubbed "culturally significant" by the US Library of Congress). We laughed a lot, and I felt like a good dad, enriching their lives with important things.

While I've seen many other examples of you being a good dad, I definitely think this is another example...
